Dr. Jonny Betteridge is an aesthetics doctor who has his own cosmetic treatment practice in London, England, but is known around the world for his viral social media reels that go over what he believes certain celebrities may or may not have done to their faces for a more youthful look.
This time, he decided to talk about Bradley Cooper, who has been getting a lot of backlash for how different he's been looking these days. Known as a heartthrob, the Hangover actor has been making several appearances on red carpets as he's been promoting his new film, Is This Thing On?, which he co-wrote, directed, and stars in. During his premiere of the film at the NYFF, the internet began buzzing over his look and "new face," writing that he almost looked like an entirely different person.
"There has been a lot of discussion around Bradley Cooper's recent appearance, and it is fair to say that at 50, he is looking quite different," wrote Dr. Betteridge in his Instagram post caption. "Once known for his rugged, masculine style, he now appears to have taken a turn towards a more refined and youthful look."
The doctor reveals that he believes the Maestro performer has had "Botox, an upper blepharoplasty, a lower blepharoplasty, a face and neck lift, and likely some degree of laser resurfacing to increase the quality of his skin." He points out that there are some indicators of a face lift near his ears, as the shape of his earlobes has changed over the years.
Internet Users Say Bradley Has 'Ruined His Face' In The Comments
Like many of his plastic surgery break down videos, Dr. Betteridge's video on the Oscar nominee went super viral, as many internet users weighed in on his changing appearance and left tons of comments critiquing his alleged work. Many agreed that aging was actually agreeing with Bradley for a while, and that he "ruined" his look by getting some work done.
"That's a shame," wrote a user. "He was so good looking that the 'age' looked good on him!"
"He's absolutely ruined his face," commented another. "I'm devastated. I loved his original face with its expression."
"The character in his face is gone," noted a user. "Everything that made him attractive has been replaced."
We're unsure if the Pennsylvania native will ever acknowledge or confirm if he's had work done, but in the meantime, it looks like fans hope he's listening to the backlash, and leaves his face alone for the future.
