Spears showed off her new ‘do on Instagram in a series of nearly identical posts. Although her Instagram confuses (and, to be honest, worries) some fans, most were too busy obsessing over her new look. You can’t really blame them: the shoulder-length cut looks amazing on the singer.

The singer quickly posted a follow up post, showing off the new hair again in a very similar pose.
Although Britney might be unsure about her shorter locks, her followers were quick to fall in love with the shorter hair.
Vanessa Hudgens, who also cut her hair recently, wrote, "Love it! So cute."
One fan commented, "My fav hair length on you."
Another wrote, "Takes me back to 2000!"
With all of this encouragement, it's no surprise that Britney is still showing off her new hair on her profile.
In the caption for her latest dancing video, Britney wrote, "You can see my hair short as well!!!"
