Britney Spears just dyed her classic blonde locks a pastel pink and we can’t get over how good this new shade looks on her. The 39-year-old debuted her new look on social media on May 11, revealing the change while dressed in a tight fitting leopard print catsuit. The singer posed seductively for the camera while showing off her new locks, and the subtle and tasteful change is certainly right on time for summer.

Taking to Instagram, Spears rolled out her new look in a series of shots, captioning the images, “Miss pussycat loves to bite… be careful ladies and gentlemen !!!!!” She has since shared a wide range of photos of her new do, both in the leopard catsuit and in a bright green jumpsuit. In one video, Britney strutted on screen in the iridescent suit and a pair of black pumps, shaking out her new hair for the camera.

The singer spoke out about her new look in an Instagram post from May 17, writing, “No this is not a hair commercial … it’s the first time I’ve colored all of my hair a bright color so fuck it … I did as many hair flips that I could !!!! Pink is hot if I do say so myself.” The mother-of-two looked thrilled in the accompanying images as she posed again in her leopard print suit. Spears also revealed that the hair was inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker in Hocus Pocus, as well as Bella Thorne.
Britney has rocked the same platinum blonde locks for the majority of her career so the new pink shade is a fun variation from her classic style. Coming out of quarantine we could all benefit from switching up our looks a little to step out for the summer, so maybe we’ll be taking a page out of Britney’s book the next time we head to the salon!
