Britney Spears is having a baby…one more time! The pop superstar, 40, just took to her Instagram account today to announce that she is expecting her third child with husband Sam Asghari and her millions of fans couldn’t be happier for her. In her post’s caption, she explained that she noticed she had gained weight after a trip to Maui and Asghari joked that she had a “food pregnancy.”
The singer then said she got an official pregnancy test and “uhhhhh well … I am having a baby,” she wrote, adding that she “got a little more food pregnant” 4 days later and that her bump is “growing!” After being freed from her conservatorship (in which she claimed her conservators would not allow her to remove her birth control to get pregnant), this is a huge win for the beloved star.

“If 2 are in there … I might just loose it,” she joked, adding that she “obviously won’t be going out as much” due to paparazzi photo ops. She also opened up about her previous pregnancies (she is mom to sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline) and how her perinatal depression and following by paparazzi was understandably overwhelming. “It’s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression … I have to say it is absolutely horrible,” she wrote.
“Women didn’t talk about it back then … some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her … but now women talk about it everyday.” Spears then concluded her message, writing, “thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret” and shared that she will be doing yoga during this pregnancy every day. “Spreading lots of joy and love!!” she wrote to her 40.4 million Instagram followers. The post included a photo of a pink teacup and metal spoon surrounded by flowers on a black surface.

Naturally, Spears’ comment section was flooded with well wishes from fans and famous friends. “BRITNEY! Congratulations!!!!” wrote one overjoyed user, while another added, “You are so loved and everyone is so happy for you!!” Paris Hilton joined in, writing, “Congratulations sis!! I’m so excited for you!! Love you!!!” with sweet emojis and Chloe Bailey also shared her congrats with heart-eye emojis. The hitmaker’s post continues to rack up thousands of likes and comments by the minute. Congrats, Britney!
