Fans Are So Worried About Cara Delevingne After Erratic Behavior In Public: ‘I Feel So Sad For Her’

Cara Delevingne continues to trend online as fans express concern for her mental health as she appeared to “behave erratically” at the Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles last week. The model, 30, arrived to the airport in a black SUV and was spotted by paparazzi with her feet (in what look to be dirty socks) hanging out the car’s window.

According to Page Six, the Paper Towns star pulled up to board Jay-Z‘s private jet, and exited the car in an outfit that some fans think “suggests she isn’t doing well.” For her airport ensemble, Delevingne wore a Britney Spears graphic tee, a pair of black joggers with multicolor stripes, and orange socks— that is— without shoes. She also carried a straw hat.

Paparazzi-snapped pics show the Only Murders In The Building actress looking “scarily disheveled,” as another fan wrote on Twitter, with a cigarette in her mouth and her usually elegantly wavy blonde hair in ratty knots. The publication also noted that Delevingne was seen behaving “very jittery” and “dropping her phone several times” as she waited on the tarmac.

The outlet also reports that Delevingne was two hours late for her flight, and the story gets worse from there. While the Vogue cover girl came to the airport with her dog Alfie and her team, she also boarded the plane with two unidentified men, Page Six writes, and then stepped off the plane just 45 minutes later.

She then spoke with airport staff as her team removed her bags from the plane, put them back in the car she arrived in, and then left along with Delevingne shortly after. While fans aren’t sure if the model was “asked to get off the plane,” she was not there for takeoff, which some are dubbing to be “peculiar.” After photos of Delevigne’s airport chaos emerged on Twitter, one fan wrote, “I hope she’s okay, I feel so sad for her.” Another tweeted, along with the images, “please get better Cara, we love you.”

A “close friend” allegedly revealed to The Sun that Delevingne’s “situation has been building for a few weeks now” and that she’s “been burning the candle at both ends of late.” Delevingne’s family and friends are also reportedly “searching for ways to help the troubled former ‘it girl’” and “considering staging an intervention,” according to a report from the Daily Mail.

Back in May, Delevingne accompanied Megan Thee Stallion to the Billboard Music Awards and fans quickly took note of her strange way of speaking and unpredictable actions. She reportedly acted “odd” on the red carpet, jumping into her rapper friend’s interviews and weirdly throwing the hitmaker’s dress in the air while she posed for photos. “I was hyping her up, being a hype woman,” she said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in July. “That’s what I do, I was just really excited.”

Delevingne has also been open about her mental health struggles in the past, especially regarding coming to terms with her sexuality. In a 2020 interview with Variety, Delevingne explained how growing up in a conservative family made her feel embarrassed of being queer and pansexual.

While fans online continue to urge her that this is nothing to be ashamed of and many even saying they feel “inspired to come out” after her poignant words, she acknowledged in a 2021 People Magazine interview that her identity has made her feel “massive depression.”

In addition, Delevingne has also confessed to having “suicidal moments” throughout her life due to feeling “ashamed” of being queer. Fans continue to share kind words on Twitter, hoping that Delevingne “feels better soon” and can “take time to rest and focus on herself.” We second that!
