Shopping for makeup and skincare products is probably one of the best activities ever. Apart from the retail therapy it brings, nothing beats the feeling of actually trying and applying the products on your face and skin. As a matter of fact, perhaps what makes it even better is knowing that these items were approved by none other than your favorite celebrities. It’s pretty cool how aside from acting in films and producing music, some also wear the hat of being an entrepreneur.

Below, we round up eight of Hollywood’s most famous stars who are the bosses of their own makeup and skincare brands.

Hailey Bieber

Rhode

Launched in June 2022, Rhode Skin showcases the 25-year-old model’s new philosophy on skincare. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and dermatologist-developed.

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin

Kylie Jenner has come a long way from launching Kylie Lip Kits back in 2015. Her Kylie Cosmetics brand has grown so much that it already expanded into selling eyeliners, eyeshadow palettes, highlighters, and more. Meanwhile, Kylie Skin offers products such as body oil, cleansing gel, and body lotion to name a few.

Rihanna

Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin

Fenty Beauty made its way to stores in 2017. According to their website, Rihanna “launched a makeup line ‘so that people everywhere would be included,’ focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, creating formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades.”

The singer shares, “Makeup is there for you to play with. It’s there for you to have fun with. It should never feel like pressure, and it should never feel like a uniform.”

Selena Gomez

Rare Beauty

As mentioned on their Instagram bio, this is a makeup brand that’s “made to feel good in, without hiding what makes you unique.” The best part? One percent of all their sales go to efforts that support mental health.

Jennifer Lopez

JLo Beauty

Claiming to be limitless, radiant, and powerfully effective, Jennifer Lopez believes that “Beauty has no expiration date.” Her beauty brand sells eye cream, serum, sheet masks, and more.

Lady Gaga

Haus Labs

With 90 products to offer, Lady Gaga’s makeup line is proudly “clean, vegan, and cruelty-free.” It features “supercharged artistry makeup with innovative skincare ingredients.”
