Charlize Theron Stuns In A Royal Blue Alexander McQueen Bandage Dress For ‘Fast X’ Premiere
Charlize is reprising her role as Cipher for the blockbuster film Fast X. She’s starring alongside Jason Mamoa, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Brie Larson, and more. She promoted the 10th film in the franchise in a skintight Alexander McQueen Spine dress in royal blue from the house’s Spring 2023 collection.
The edgy electric blue dress featured a bandage design with cut-outs all over that revealed her toned body. Bandage It also had a turtle neckline, ruffles, and double-breasted pins to hold the look together. Bandage dresses are tight-fitting “bodycon” dresses that look like they’re made from multiple thin strips of cloth sewn together. The individual strips are shaped like bandages—hence the name. They were extremely popular in the 90s and early-2000s and have made a bit of a comeback this year. Actress Emily Blunt wore a red, floral bandage dress to the 2023 SAG Awards.
She paired the garment with Alexander McQueen Shard heeled boots in the exact same blue hue. She also draped a structured cut-out black blazer over her shoulders for added effect. Charlize chose to let the unique outfit speak for itself and didn’t wear any jewelry. As for glam, the Tully actress parted her chic blonde Italian bob in the middle and opted for minimal makeup. Later that day, Charlize donned black micro mini skirts and an ab-baring bra that she covered with an ultra-sheer beaded silk dress all from Dior.
