Fans of the Fast & Furious franchise have expressed overwhelming excitement on social media after new footage emerged online of Jason Momoa filming the upcoming 10th installment, Fast X in Rome. The Justice League icon, 42, can be seen riding a Harley Davidson motorbike while on set for the action film, and showing off his incredible physique. Momoa was snapped by paparazzi and posed with fans in-between takes, donning an all-black, stylish get-up.
The Aquaman actor (who often plays heroes), recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about his role in Fast X as a villain, something he was looking forward to taking on. “It’s fun, I get to play the bad guy, which I haven’t gotten to do for a while,” he said, “Now, I get to be the bad boy. A very flamboyant bad boy. A little panache!”

While on-set, Momoa rocked a black tank top that revealed his intricate arm tattoos, black denim jeans, and boots. To accessorize, he added chunky metal rings, two silver layered necklaces, and wore his wavy, brown locks down and parted in the middle. He completed his look with dark shades as he rode threw the streets of Italy, (looking as effortlessly cool as ever, might we add).

Momoa also recently pleased fans of the franchise by revealing to ET that Charlize Theron would return to the newest film as the villain Cipher. “I get to shoot with some really cool people that I have never — I get to work with Charlize [Theron] first up, which I’m really excited about,” he said. “But yeah, I’m excited I’m working with Vin [Diesel]. I’m excited I’m working with Charlize.”
On his own Instagram account, Momoa has been sharing updates with his 17 million followers, as well as photos from his days off exploring Rome. The Dune actor shared pics of him visiting the Sistine Chapel last week, along with The Vatican and other ancient sites and landmarks, appearing to enjoy his traveling.

This week, Vin Diesel shared a comical video with his pal Momoa while preparing to film a new “intense action sequence” involving a car, as he wrote in his Instagram caption. “Week 5, day one of an intense new action sequence!!” Diesel wrote, “Blessed and grateful.” Fans began commenting on Momoa “looking great,” being “ripped” and noted how excited they were to see “two beloved actors” together on-screen. Momoa commented, “too much fun. the adventures of Don and Dante,” with laughing emojis before adding “it’s gonna be crazy.”

Fast X will zoom into theaters in May of 2023 and will also feature newcomer to the franchise, Brie Larson. From Momoa’s on-set pics and sweet video with castmate Diesel, it’s safe to say we can’t wait to see the new film!
