Christina Aguilera Rocks The ‘No Pants’ Trend
In an Instagram post that Christina shared on Jan. 28, the pop star shared a carousel of throwback photos. One, in particular, shows her wearing nothing but a pair of black tights. The “Genie in a Bottle” singer is taking a stance: Say no to pants and say no to tops.
“A few moments from the Aguilera archives,” she wrote in the post’s caption with a fire, key, and rose emoji. “One whole year of La Fuerza…It’s more than just music, it’s the memories, the collaborations and so many moments I feel lucky to have shared with all the beautiful minds behind this project.” In the tights-only photo, Christina Aguilera is seen posing on a chair only wearing black high-waist opaque tights. Aguilera covers her chest with her arm and she wears her bright red hair down back in the middle.

The 42-year-old pop star posted the photos in celebration of the first anniversary of her experimental Spanish-language album, Aguilera. Her ninth-studio album was released in three parts starting in January 2022 with La Fuerza (The Strength).

In December 2021, Xtina revived her iconic “Dirrty” Era style at the People‘s Choice Awards. She donned a black, white, and yellow corseted leotard over fishnet stockings with chaps. The pop singer received the Music Icon Award at the ceremony.

A second photo from the carousel included Christina wearing a deep v-neck red gown with a corseted waist and dramatic off-the-shoulder sleeves while filming her “La Reina” music video. And, she also posted an outtake from the visuals for “Pa Mis Muchachas” which showed the singer dressed in a black latex bra top and matching pants adorned with silver chains.
