Christina Aguilera just showed all the younger popstars what show-stopping fashion really is, by taking to the stage in one of the most provocative outfits we think she’s ever worn. And no, we haven’t forgotten her infamous “Dirrty” outfit from 2002! The 40-year-old singer set tongues well and truly wagging when she performed at the LadyLand 2021 Festival in New York wearing one risqué outfit after another – but it was her green Statue of Liberty outfit that got people talking the most.
Xtina performed a crowd-pleasing 40-minute set featuring some of her most iconic songs from “Genie in a Bottle” to “Your Body” at the concert which commemorated the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, and her style choices were just as risqué as we would expect. Perhaps even more! The “Lady Marmalade” singer was sporting a sexy nude bodysuit which acted as the base to many tantalizing (and often barely-there) outfits; the most attention-grabbing of which was definitely her Lady Liberty inspired ensemble. Only Christina!

It’s not just the green cut-out mini dress – which was expertly slashed to reveal even more skin – that contributed to the wow factor of the outfit, as the accessories had a huge part to play too. Christina teamed her super-mini with red PVC gloves (but of course!) and finished off with some seductive red over the knee boots. The “Beautiful” singer also came out in a nude bodysuit and jeweled thong, as well a denim chaps-and-bustier combo which gave us serious noughties flashbacks, yet it was the Statue of Liberty dress that seemed to send fans into the biggest frenzy! “I love it A SexyStatue of Liberty,” one fan commented on Instagram, with a very apt Statue of Liberty emoji, in response to some pictures the singer shared from the event.
“It’s the way I’m so obsessed with you! Gagging!” another excited fan exclaimed, while another kept it short and sweet, writing, “Pretty and rebellious.” One of the many other Xtina stans also chimed in, adding, “I mean, how dare you being so gorgeous?” while many other fans commented on just how much they loved the nude bodysuit, with one fan confirming: “Bodysuit is brilliant!
