That's right. Consumer Reports conducted a study that put several brands of detergent to the test, trying them out on various satins such as coffee, grass, chocolate, blood, and more. The results were measured using a colorimeter, a special device used to assess color intensity. Fans of Costco will be happy to know that the Kirkland Signature Ultra Clean detergent won in several categories, including (no surprise) "best value" at a stellar $17.19 for 1.51 gallons. Score! This product was also highly effective (rated "excellent"!) when it came to removing body oil stains, so you'll definitely be getting a good amount of bang for your buck.
It doesn't stop there, though! The hypoallergenic Ultra Clean Free and Clear Detergent excelled in baby clothes category, making the top of the list. It was also noted that this detergent is "very good" at treating dirt stains. Noted! Guess we'll kick or Tide pods to the curb.
