"Many third-party chargers don't properly regulate voltage and current, which can cause micro-stress on internal power management circuits over time. Even if the phone doesn't fail immediately, long-term instability can show up as battery health decline, overheating, or inconsistent charging speeds."
"Lithium-ion batteries are very temperature sensitive; excess heat raises internal resistance and chemical wear," adds expert Steven Athwal. "Over time, this causes overheating alerts and quickens battery degradation, meaning it won't hold a charge for long and will probably need a replacement battery."
