This Affordable Hair Mist Has A 5-Star Rating Because It Makes Frizz Go Away SO Fast

Yesterday we told you how to cut your drying time in half by choosing the right blow dryer, and today comes a tip that may make you ditch your dryer altogether: Cuvée Beauty’s new Air Dry Mist. And it involves champagne!

Blow Dryer Alternative

The brand surveyed over 550 women about their relationship with their hair dryer, and found out that over 70% of them blow dry their hair at least once a week but 75% noted they’d rather use the time for something else more relaxing. Retweet! And 50% said they love how their blow-dried hair looks, but can’t stand the process behind it. Ugh, same.

And the brand’s founder Rachel Katzman gets it. “I’m always in need of a great product to help me save time. I am super busy and don’t have much time to spend on my hair, but always want to look put together and feel good. I struggled with other air-drying products because my hair would either feel dried out or still have frizz,” she told The Zoe Report.

Cuvée Beauty Air Dry Mist

The product, like all Cuvée Beauty ones, contains their proprietary blend of champagne extracts (from the Champagne region of France), pea protein, white truffle, resveratrol and ceramides. I’ll drink to that!

It comes in a crème-to-mist format. Spray it on damp hair to detangled, soften and condition hair. Let it air dry and hair dries perfectly–I swear. I loved how my hair had a really natural styled look–and it lasted all day in NYC humidity. And that’s saying a lot.

I also loved that I can cut back on using my dryer because this will give my color-treated hair a break, and hopefully (fingers crossed!) cut down on breakage in the future. I swear, it was so silky but with a gentle styling hold. The dream!

It was also quick-absorbing and fast-drying, and the brand says that it’s for all hair types (curly, straight, short, long, fine, thick, dry, oily, combination) so I will definitely be recommending it to friends.

Hair will even dry faster and in its natural state. The product also contains Sunflower Seed Extract, which helps stop breakage and  stimulates hair growth and Panthenol/B5 for moisturize, strength and flexibility in the hair. Now isn’t that what we all really want?

The product is also free of sulfates, parabens and phthalates and is safe for color-treated and chemically-treated hair. So, what are you waiting for–try it!

Plus, at $38, the air dry mist is totally affordable (for how insanely revolutionary it is).

How To Use It

The instructions are to apply it to clean damp hair. Start an inch from the root and work your way through to ends. The next step is the easiest–just let dry naturally! Absolutely no hair dryer or tools required. Aka, you can get your life back.
