Demi Lovato has social media beginning to think she’s joined the band of celebrities who have started using popular weight loss medications to lose weight after her recent Instagram posts.

The singer-songwriter recently shared a compilation of social media photos showing off her super slim figure and contoured face, and some people are raising their eyebrows. Since entering the public eye as a teenager, she’s been very transparent about her struggles with eating and body image, yet has not mentioned anything about taking weight loss drugs to shed some extra pounds. Still, people aren’t so convinced she hasn’t dabbled in the famous medications. Read more about her controversial pictures below.

Demi Lovato Shares Pictures Showing Off Her Slim Figure On Instagram

The former Disney star has been quite active on social media lately, giving her followers and fanbase updates on her life and glimpses into her relationship with her fiance, Jordan Lutes. One of her recent posts on Instagram was a "photo dump," she posted on April 24th. Several of the pictures in the post were selfies the star took of herself in the mirror, putting her outfits and thin physique on display.

The first picture was an up-close mirror selfie of the 32-year-old, whose cheekbones were more hollowed out and whose jawline was very defined. She also snapped pictures in a waist-cinching sundress and even shared a more risqué shot of her slimmed-down legs in bed. Other photos, including her posing in barely-there pajamas and another of her in a leather jacket and black tights, led fans to wonder what she's been doing in terms of diet and exercise lately.

In the past, Demi has bravely spoken up about her struggles with body image and having an eating disorder, which her fans and other members of the public have applauded her for. After sharing her journey of ups and downs in terms of getting healthier and taking better care of herself, she turned heads in 2021 after sharing that she had "accidentally" lost weight.

The "Cool For The Summer" singer shared that she no longer counts calories, over-exercise, or restricts herself.

"I don't live my life according to the diet culture," she wrote. "I've actually lost weight. This is a different experience. I feel full, not of food, but of divine wisdom."

Judging by her posts in the last three years, she's seemingly lost more weight, which has caused many internet users to speculate that she's using other aids to shed additional pounds.

Internet Users Speculate That Demi Has Been Using Weight Loss Drugs

Despite her efforts to show off her weight loss while promoting healthy, balanced eating and exercise, fans and followers still aren't convinced there isn't something else going on behind the scenes, especially after her latest Instagram posts.

After the Grammy nominee posted her "photo dump," thousands of people took to the comments to either hype her up or point out just how much thinner she is and accuse her of using weight loss medications like Ozempic. She was also called out for "bodychecking" herself, a newer term for social media behavior, which describes instances when people take and post photos or videos of their bodies so people will focus on their weight or appearance.

"I love you, but you've been bodychecking like crazy since getting on Mounjaro [or] Ozempic," commented a follower.

"I hope you're doing alright mentally."

"Ozempic queen," added another, with an additional Instagram user writing, "Ozempic looks great on her."

"You're so skinny!" noted another user. "I hope you're okay." Although

Demi has yet to comment on whether or not she's lost more weight due to GLP-1 medications, she did reveal on Penn Badgley's podcast, Podcrushed, that she had a treatment team with a nutritionist and therapist who consistently monitors her health and helps her take proper care of herself so she doesn't fall back into disordered patterns. She noted they help her "come up with tools" and are currently trying to get her to achieve "body acceptance."

We'll have to wait and see if she ever chooses to talk about weight loss medications and whether or not she has ever used them.
