Donald Trump is taking aim at yet another television personality amid the latest backlash he’s receiving for what he’s said against other significant figures like Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and more. Now, he’s going after one of today’s most popular daytime stars.

This week, the president attacked Gayle King, who is notorious for her work with CBS, and her current position on CBS Mornings. He referenced a recent report that came out, diversity, equity, and inclusion-related content and programs were removed from CBS’s lineup, allegedly putting the co-host’s career in jeopardy. The 79-year-old went as far as to write that her career was “over” among other things. This isn’t the first time he’s attacked a television show figure, as he’s taken aim at other hosts and stars in the last few weeks following the Paramount lawsuit drama. Read more about his latest rant below.

Donald Trump Attacks Gayle King In A New Truth Social Post Following New CBS Report

This week, an article from The New York Post shared insight from a host who was commenting on the ongoing Skydance-Paramount Global merger, writing that due to CBS' latest "woke" content and affected ratings, Gayle's career with the network was in trouble, and that she would not be offered "the same cushy deal again."

Although CBS and the daytime co-host have yet to acknowledge these claims and speculation, the story caught Trump's attention, who decided to weigh in on the matter on his social media app, Truth Social, where he tends to post most of his ramblings against fellow politicians and other pop culture figures.

After reposting the article, the president wrote, "Gayle King's career is over."

"She should have stayed with her belief in TRUMP," he continued. "She never had the courage to do so. No talent, no ratings, no strength!!!"

Trump's Post About Gayle King Comes After The Cancellation Of 'The Late Show' And His Threats Towards Late-Night Hosts

The 70-year-old is not the first talk show host and media personality to be attacked by the New York native, as he's been posting negative messages about several late-night show hosts after it was announced that The Late Show With Stephen Colbert was cancelled after ten seasons for financial reasons. The announcement didn't come long after it was announced that the show's parent network, Paramount, would pay Trump a $16M settlement.

Since then, the Apprentice star has been reveling in the show's cancellation and threatening other late-night show hosts that their shows will end.

"I absolutely love that Colbert got fired," wrote the president. "His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next."

It seems that the chaos erupting between the 47th president's policies and posts and television personalities will not sway them, as Colbert and his guests have been rather outspoken about the show being taken off the air, and other hosts are promising their viewers that they intend to stay on air for as long as possible.

We're looking forward to seeing what Gayle has to say about the buzzing post related to her career, but many fans imagine she'll keep things professional.
