Donald Trump and Melania Trump’s visit to the U.K. earlier this month has garnered a lot of attention – and unsurprisingly, not a lot of it appears to be positive!

Every detail of the visit has been scrutinized, but one thing in particular is bringing some much-needed light-hearted relief to social media – and that is a picture of the POTUS posing with King Charles!

Donald Trump And King Charles Pose For Viral Picture

The aforementioned picture was shared to the official White House and POTUS Instagram accounts on September 17th. It shows King Charles, dressed in a blue suit, white shirt, and blue tie posing with his hands neatly behind his back alongside Donald Trump, who is wearing a darker blue suit, white shirt, and purple tie.

Trump is stiffly posing with his hands by his sides and flashing a super-wide (and laser-white!) smile for the camera. But it’s not the historic moment has everyone talking, it’s the president’s smile!

Instagram users immediately zoomed in on Trump’s practically blinding super-white grin, and questioned why the official White House team allowed such an obviously over-edited picture to be posted – especially when other pictures (such as the one below) from others events during the state visit also exist, proving that his teeth are not in fact that white!

Internet Reactions

"Whoever did the teeth whitening editing needs to be fired," quipped one Instagram user on the post, followed by the sideways crying laughing emoji. "Why did they edit his teeth?" asked a second, followed by three crying emojis, as a third slammed: "What an embarrassment! And the teeth... I think it was done on purpose."

"King Charles looks like he lost his arms and Trump has on the magnifying mouth filter," joked a fourth user, followed by the crying laughing emoji. "Y'all FaceTuned DJT but not the King?" asked a fifth. "The FaceTune teeth whitening was a massive fail. You're fired!" exclaimed a sixth, as many others found more than just the "artificially white teeth," to quote another Instagram user, to mock.

"Trump looks like he was stolen from Madame Tussauds," commented a seventh, followed by the crying laughing emoji, while an eighth concurred: "I thought these were wax figures." "The most photoshopped picture ever," thought a ninth, as a tenth declared: "That's the creepiest picture of 2025!"
