Apple Martin & Gwyneth Paltrow Pose On The Red Carpet At The 'Marty Supreme' Premiere In NYC
On December 16th, numerous stars arrived in New York City for the highly anticipated premiere of Marty Supreme, the latest major picture starring Timothee Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow, who turned her red carpet appearance into a family affair.
At Gwyneth's side was her 21-year-old daughter, Apple, who paid homage to her mom by wearing a figure-hugging black dress with a halter top. Nearly 30 years ago, her mom wore the same dress to the premiere of her film, Emma. She also styled her hair similarly to the way her mom did at the 1996 premiere, and she kept her accessories to a minimum.
The up-and-coming model did have some glam makeup on, including classic Hollywood eyeliner and some lined lips with lipstick.
Fans React To Apple's Premiere Look & Makeup On Social Media
After pictures of the mother-daughter duo at the NYC premiere were shared on social media, fans immediately began flooding in comments, many of which were related to how great they look together and how great it was to see the 21-year-old wearing her mother's old dress.
However, like most celebrities' children, Apple also faced numerous critical comments surrounding her status as a "nepo baby," and there were also several internet users who weren't into her makeup for the evening, leaving messages on platforms like Instagram.
"What is going on with her lips?" asked a user.
"Her lips look weird and unnatural," wrote another. "She needs to find a new injector."
"Beautiful, but [she's] looking older than 21," commented a user, as another wrote that her face was "unique" looking.
