Photo Captures Donald Trump's Indifference While Man Faints Behind Him
Last week, Donald Trump and drug-makers Eli Lilly and Company & Novo Nordisk announced their plans to reduce the costs of weight loss (GLP-1) medications. However, while officials from the White House and executives from the companies were speaking, a man standing behind Donald Trump fainted.
While some individuals rushed to help the man, namely Mehmet Oz, Administration of CMS, Donald Trump appeared to have no reaction at all. In fact, photos taken in the moment show every other individual in the room surrounding the person who fainted with looks of concern on their faces, while Donald Trump stands at his desk, back to the incident all together, with a look on his face that can only be described as bored.
Social Media Reactions
The photo has done it's rounds through social media platforms, drawing criticism for Trump's lack of emotion for the health scare happening within arms reach. Some online users even saw it as representative of how Trump feels about many issues present in American society today as a result of his policies. "A photo that perfectly encapsulates who he is," one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
"Can't even pretend to care," another agreed on TikTok.
"Trump just standing there looking like he has a load in his diaper," another person joked.
