Donald Trump seems to have no problem claiming that Joe Biden is “too incompetent” to be the presidency, pointing out instances of forgetfulness and slurred words, but the former president has had his share of mix-ups too. Donald Trump Confuses Barack Obama With Joe Biden
During a January appearance on Fox News, Trump seemingly got confused between Barack Obama and Joe Biden. He went on a tangent about presidential immunity, saying, "If the president of the United States and I'm not talk about myself, I'm talking about any president, has to have immunity, because if you take immunity away from the president, so important, you will have you have a president that's not going to be able to do anything."
"Because when he leaves office, the opposing party, president, if it's the opposing party, will indict the president for doing something that should have been good, like Obama dropped missiles, and they ended up hitting a kindergarten or school or the apartment house, a lot of people were killed," he continued.
"Well, if that's the case, he's going to end up being indicted when he leaves office," he added. "He meant well, the missile went in the wrong direction and other things." Trump was seemingly referring to Obama as if he were still in office.
However, last week during a rally, Trump attempted to clear things up: "But when I say that Obama is the president of our country bah bah bah, they go, 'He doesn't know that Spiden, he doesn't know.' So it's very hard to be sarcastic."
Twitter Calls Out Donald Trump And Says He's 'Declining'
But, many people don't quite believe that Trump was trying to make a sarcastic joke. Many of these critics of the former president have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to point out Trump's many ailments, and did not skip over Trump's latest slip up. "Where are the media headlines that Trump is mentally declining?" one user asked. "Where are the Republicans telling him to step aside?"
"Trump said he's running against Obama," another pointed out. "Stop downplaying his memory lapses. His cognitive decline, delusions, and dementia are showing full face."
"No amount of deflection or projectin will hide Trump's mental decline, criminality, bullying unchristian behaviour, misogynistic tendencies of a pathological liar with a godlike complex," another stated.
"Trump should never be POTUS again," a final user posted. "He's in cognitive decline, he's uninformed, inept, and a habitual liar."
