Dua Lipa is continuing to celebrate her birthday month with some truly jaw-dropping outfits. We thought it couldn’t get any better – or sexier – than the sparkly Marc Jacobs bra top she wore in a series of pictures posted to her Instagram on August 21st, but she may have just outdone herself with a denim thongkini that was posted the day after! Only Dua could pull such a daring look off!
The 27-year-old “Sweetest Pie” singer may have been taking style tips from Kim Kardashian, who practically broke the internet when she posted an Instagram carousel featuring the tiniest thongkini. And we think Dua’s is on the same track!

It wasn’t just the thongkini that turned heads, as the whole outfit – courtesy of stylist Lorenzo Posocco – was jaw-dropping from top to bottom. The “Love Again” singer was once again raiding the luxury fashion archives, as her ‘fit was actually a vintage Dior look from John Galliano’s Spring 2000 collection. In addition to the thongkini, Dua’s outfit also consisted of a sheer sarong, which she wore wrapped around her waist and some super-seductive blue monogram boots from the same collection.
The “Cold Heart” musician styled her hair in a fierce, Ariana-Grande-esque sky high pony, and accessories-wise, she completed her look with a Y2K-inspired Hugo Kreit flower choker, as well as a green flower shaped ring, silver hoop earrings, and some orange sunglasses. Dua captioned her post: “27 feels like heaven,” followed by the evil eye emoji. “thank you for the birthday wishes!!!!” she added. And as you can imagine, thousands upon thousands of fans were on hand to wish her a happy birthday in the comments section!
