When you sign up for an account, you'll be asked to create a password. Make sure it's strong and unique.
Next, you'll be asked to enable 2FA. This will typically involve downloading an app on your phone and entering a code from the app when you log in to your account.

Once you've enabled 2FA, even if someone knows your password, they won't be able to log in to your account without your phone, according to Baskins. 

And Baskins offers some additional tips for staying safe from hackers:

** Keep your software up to date. Software updates often include security patches that can help protect your phone from known vulnerabilities.

** Be careful what you click on. Don't click on links in emails or text messages from people you don't know. These links could lead to malicious websites that could infect your phone with malware.

** Use a VPN when using public Wi-Fi. A VPN encrypts your traffic, making it more difficult for hackers to intercept your data.

** Be careful what information you share online. Don't share your personal information, such as your Social Security number or bank account number, on social media or other websites.
