Elizabeth Olsen Glows On The Red Carpet In A Black Lacy Dress At Variety's Power Of Women Event

Elizabeth Olsen stunned fans in a black satin gown with exquisite lace detail on the red carpet last week (and we’re still not over it!) The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness actress, 33, attended Variety‘s Power of Women event in Los Angeles while donning a gothic, ornate ankle-length dress from Rodarte‘s fall 2022 ready-to-wear collection.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe icon joined Kathryn Hahn, her WandaVision costar, for photos and also posed solo— showing off her gorgeous dress and glowing complexion. The garment featured structured, draping lace shoulder detailing, more of the see-through fabric along the neckline, and cut-outs that drew eyes to her tiny waist.

To complete her look, Olsen added pointed-toe black heels to match her glamorous dress, and accessorized with dangly silver hoop earrings and shiny rings. The Godzilla alum tied her wavy, dirty-blonde tresses into an elegant updo for the evening, with tendrils falling at the sides of her face. For her makeup look Olsen added rosy eyeshadow to emphasize her green eyes, as well as a dash of voluminous mascara and warm blush along her high cheekbones.

To top it all off, the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen rocked a dark mauve lipstick color that we think is perfect for fall! Other notable attendees at the Beverly Hills female empowerment event included Malala Yousafzai, Ava DuVernay, Sandra Oh, Jenna Dewan, Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton. Olsen was one of the night’s honorees, and during her eloquent acceptance speech, she paid homage to Gail Abarbanel, the founder and director of the Rape Foundation and Stuart House.

“When I learned about tonight, I asked Gail if there is anything that she would like to do next with the foundation, because in my mind she’s already thought of everything. She said, ‘Yes, to stop sexual abuse on the internet,’” Olsen said. She continued, “To me that sounded very, very big and maybe impossible. But if you were to ask her what she wanted to create in 1974, I think that would have also sounded just as big and impossible.”
