Emily Blunt turned heads at the BFI London Film Awards red carpet last week in a ruching, floor-length little black dress that was straight off the runway. The A Quiet Place star, 39, stunned in a curve-hugging, black Saint Laurent gown with a halter neckline and ruching fabric as she promoted her upcoming television series, The English.

The piece helped flaunt Blunt’s tiny waist and toned figure, and was from the French luxury fashion house’s Fall 2022 collection. The Into the Woods actress completed her look with the help of chunky black metal bangle bracelets, dark rings, and intricate dangly earrings. Blunt tied her long, dirty blonde tresses up into a slicked-back, elegant updo and rocked a timeless smokey eye, warm blush on her cheekbones, a dash of highlighter, and a nude lipstick color.

The Devil Wears Prada alum posed for solo photos and then met up with her co-star Chaske Spencer, 47, who donned a classic tuxedo. As the mom of two graced the red carpet, her dress was seen to be backless, and she walked in open-toe black sandal heels. Blunt’s forthcoming drama miniseries, The English, centers around a woman who seeks revenge on the man she believes is responsible for the death of her son. It will be available to stream via Amazon Prime Video starting November 11, 2022.

Blunt is also set to star in the long-awaited Christopher Nolan film, Oppenheimer, which will hit theaters on July 21, 2o23 and features an A-list cast composed of Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Florence Pugh and other notable names. In addition, Blunt has confirmed that her husband John Krasinski is working on both a spin-off and third sequel film for their Quiet Place series.
