After taking on her late husband's role as the CEO of Turning Point USA, she's been gaining a lot more media attention, as she continues to speak at public events, make videos for the organization, and more. Recently, she shared a 'photo dump' on Instagram, which contained numerous photos from her personal life, including her travels, her and Charlie's children, and more. There was one photo in particular that stood out, where she was seen holding their young son while standing in the departed podcaster's office, where he would record videos for Turning Point.

After seeing this new post with her children on Instagram, numerous users ended up slamming Erika in the comments section, accusing her of using her and Charlie's kids to get more sympathy from the world. The photos with them, especially the one of her and her son in his office, triggered a new level of comments.
