The retired actress recently posted a new collection of images on Instagram where she can be seen showing off her modeling skills and posing in chic summertime outfits. In her pictures, her wrist tattoo was visible, which, over the years, she’s subtly flaunted and made clear is a tribute to her longtime partner. Eva Mendes Flaunts Her Tattoo In New Instagram Photos
In 2014, the Lost River performer revealed that she was taking a long break from acting in professional projects to take care of her and her husband's two daughters, Esmerelda and Amada, who are now 11 and 9 years old.
Though she has many loyal fans who miss seeing her on screen, Eva has taken on a handful of other projects and business ventures since she decided to take a step back from acting. One of those includes writing children's books, which she's promoted at in-person events and readings, and another is her fashion collaboration with the famous Stella McCartney, modeling some of their newest creations in London photoshoots.
She's had numerous photoshoots of her own as well, sharing them on her popular Instagram account, and more recently, she posted some end-of-summer shots while driving around in a vintage car, captioning one of her posts, "It's going to be so hard to let go of you, Summer. I love you so mucho." In several of the snaps, you can see her wrist tattoo, which reads, 'de Gosling.'

Seeing the tattoo was a notable moment for fans of the Place Beyond the Pines performers, who have been together since making the film in 2011 and reportedly tied the knot during a secret ceremony in 2016.
From the start of their romance, the couple has been rather private about their love and personal lives, rarely making red carpet appearances together and mostly acknowledging one another in the occasional award show speech or interview. However, subtle tributes like Eva's tattoo continue to be signs that their love is stronger than ever. She first debuted the tattoo in 2022, with the words 'de Gosling' roughly translating to 'Mrs. Gosling,' in Hispanic culture, with "de" or "of" signaling their unity.
After seeing the tattoo in her new summertime posts, a few fans left comments about it, and the mom of two even took a moment to respond to one.
"It's the only one I have, the only one I've ever wanted," she wrote.
