Jessica Simpson modeled items from her new Walmart fashion collection in a video shared with her 6.3 million Instagram followers last week. The collection features bohemian floral dresses and stylish one-piece swimsuits. Many fans in the comments section complimented the “Irresistible” singer’s newly single glow and radiant look after her significant weight loss.
However, some expressed worry, citing ongoing rumors about plastic surgery and fillers, including recent speculation about cheek enhancements. On January 22nd, Simpson, 44, (who has been teasing new music on social media lately) captioned her clip: “New season, new styles! Our latest collection available exclusively at @walmart.”
One user wrote: “Cheek implants now, jeezzzz” as another added: “What in the cheekfiller is going on here?” Someone else similarly commented: “doesn’t look like her anymore.” Others, however, stressed that Simpson looked “gorgeous” in the vid and praised her chic style. “Wow can’t wait ! Hope you’re doing well Jessica !! You’re so loved by your fans,” one wrote.
One other replied: “Absolutely gorgeous.” Someone else noted: “Love the floral dress Jess!!” as another loved her “gold swimsuit.” One gushed: “Obsessed! I can’t wait I absolutely love @jessicasimpsonstyle @jessicasimpson ESPECIALLY her jeans they’re perfect.”
This isn’t the first time that the mom of three (who shares kids Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie, 5, with her ex-husband, former NFL player Eric Johnson), has been accused of going under the knife. Although Simpson has not yet addressed the recent allegations regarding her use of plastic surgery or fillers, her memoir, Open Book, does detail her experience with cosmetic surgery.
Specifically, the “Take My Breath Away” artist reveals that she underwent two tummy tucks after giving birth to her eldest children, daughter Maxwell in 2012 and son Ace in 2013. While the fashion designer publicly credited her post-baby weight loss to Weight Watchers, Simpson acknowledges that there was more to the story.
