Miley Cyrus ignited speculation among her fans on social media about whether she recently had dental work, possibly getting “new veneers,” after her appearance on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet.
The “Flowers” singer, 32, graced the event last week in a breathtaking black Celine gown, characterized by a plunging neckline and numerous cutouts on the bodice, embellished with glimmering silver sequins along the edges.
While numerous devotees on Instagram admired the “Jaded” artist‘s rocker-chic outfit, some were fixated on her teeth, speculating that she had work done recently.

Under a video post on Page Six's IG showing Cyrus at the event, one follower commented: "Love her. Don't like the new veneers....too big." Someone else added: "Something about those teeth…" One other user chimed in, writing: "Did her teeth get bigger?" An additional commenter asked: "Did she get her teeth done again?" One more inquired: "What happened to her teeth ?" This isn't the first occasion Cyrus has sparked speculation about veneers, dental procedures, and other cosmetic enhancements.
In 2023, Dr. Raj Juneja of Face Teeth Smile Dental Clinic told Hello! that Cyrus possibly pursued gum contouring in recent years. "Miley has likely had gum contouring (crown lengthening) to improve her gummy smile and even out the gum line," he said.

Cosmetic dentist Dr. Thuha Jabbar of Almas Dentistry and Aesthetics also mentioned to the publication that the former Hannah Montana star might have undergone a gum lift. "A gum lift is a surgical procedure aimed at surgically addressing gum-related issues," she noted. Before her smile transformation, Juneja said that the Last Song actress had somewhat crowded teeth.
The doctor shared: "In Miley's previous photos you can see marked crowding (overlapping of her front teeth) which has been corrected." Juneja continued: "This almost certainly means she has had some sort of orthodontic (braces) treatment. She may have had Invisalign clear aligners or lingual braces to make this treatment as discreet as possible."
When it comes to veneers, Jabbar dished to the mag: "It appears that Miley has chosen veneers, evident from the veneers' distinctive shape and polished appearance." The doctor continued: "Veneers offer the advantage of a minimally invasive procedure while boasting greater durability, resulting in a longer-lasting solution with reduced maintenance requirements."
Regarding the Grammy winner, Jabbar added: "Miley appears to have had porcelain veneers after braces to improve the size, shape and color of her teeth." Overall, the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker has neither confirmed nor denied undergoing cosmetic dental procedures, but her teeth have noticeably evolved over time. It's thought that she has had braces, veneers, and gum contouring.
