Travis Kelce has played 13 seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs, but fans are speculating that this one might be his last—and not just because 13 is Taylor Swift’s lucky number. The 36-year-old tight end made some comments on the podcast he shares with his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce, that has Swifties and football fans alike worried that Travis’s next three games may be the last he plays. Travis Kelce Hints At Retirement
In last week's episode of New Heights, Travis and Jason were discussing what the Chiefs will look like next year, especially following quarterback Patrick Mahomes' season-ending ACL tear on December 14th.
"You know, hopefully, the Chiefs can get him back as soon as possible," Travis said to Jason. "I know right now it's kind of right around that one week or the beginning of the season next year. I know he's gonna be doing everything he can to get back out on that field for the Chiefs as soon as possible."
Jason then weighed in on his experience in the NFL: "The other thing I always think about whenever I played in games like this or seasons that have gone south, you know, even in the years where everything doesn't work out, you still have a team. You're still close with the guys."
"I always thought similar to what you're saying, Trav," he continued. "Like, we only got three weeks left of this year's team to play football. Like next year, it's gonna look different. Right? Guys are gonna be back. Guys aren't gonna be back." Does Jason know something we don't?

Social Media Reactions
Across social media platforms, fans speculated over whether this is Travis's last season on the team, and the results are quite divided. "Greatest tight end of all time," one person wrote on Instagram. "I'll be there to see his last catch."
"Going to miss him on the field!" another person agreed. "But a new chapter for his future!"
"I think it's going to leave sadly but it was an amazing career!" agreed a third person."I'll miss him!"
"I want him to be happy and enjoy his life with Taylor," another fan chimed in. "That being said I definitely hate to see him retire this year. Maybe he won't!"
"I think he has at least one more season in him!" said the next fan.
"He would tell us if he was retiring," a final fan said. "Travis is here to stay!"
