By now, it’s no secret that you have to eat healthy foods if you want to lose weight. There’s a long list of foods that dieters should incorporate into their meals, and among them are fruits.

But, there’s one that’s often overlooked. It’s incredibly nutritious and is known to rev the metabolism and basically blast fat, especially if you eat it before 10 a.m.

“Blueberries are low in calories and help fight fat by boosting your metabolism,” says New York-based registered dietitian Regina Fazzini, R.D. “Plus, they’re filled with antioxidants and fiber, so they’ll help you burn calories and lose weight.”

And the best part is, they’re so easy to incorporate into your favorite meals. Add a serving size of blueberries to your oatmeal, pancakes, smoothies or yogurt to get all of their weight loss goodness!
