Gigi Hadid hit the red carpet at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival for a screening of the film Firebrand (Le Jeu De La Reine) on May 21. The blonde beauty, 28, walked the red carpet in a custom Zac Posen fishtail gown that very much resembled a vintage design that Gigi’s younger sister, Bella Hadid, wore back in 2018. Always ahead of the trends, Bella wore the original hot pink fishtail gown from the 2006 Jean Paul Gaultier Fall-Winter couture collection at the Naked Heart France gala dinner during Paris Fashion Week.
Meanwhile, Gigi’s nude-toned Zac Posen gown was a more neutral take on Bella’s bright pink dress. Gigi showed off her supermodel curves in the stunning, sculpted dress and went full Hollywood glam with diamonds all around—from a sparkling diamond necklace, matching bracelet, to several diamond earrings and rings. She’s a ten.
Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio were both in attendance at the Cannes Film Festival and we can’t help but wonder (à la Carrie Bradshaw) if the 28-year-old model and the notorious playboy crossed paths. In early May, Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted with supermodel Irina Shayk, 37, at a Coachella after-party, but not long after sparked reconciliation rumors with former flame, Gigi. The pair both attended the same Met Gala after-party, arriving separately at Zero Bond in New York City. If Leo saw Gigi in this stunning dress, we’re sure sparks flew.
