Megan Fox understood the assignment. The 37-year-old stunner took a page from The Little Mermaid’s book and made it a part of her world with this netted dress at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2023 Issue release party at the Hard Rock Hotel in Florida on May 20.

The Jennifer’s Body actress dressed to impress in a gorgeous long sleeve taupe netted Blumarine gown that featured a ruffle detail along the neckline and down the center of the dress as well as extra-long mesh sleeves. Fox paired the low-cut gown with a metallic clutch, simple evil eye necklace, and let her makeup and glam do the talking. She went full-on mermaid with a wet look hairstyle and didn’t hold back with her makeup. Fox had a glowing bronze tan and went with a smoky eye, dewy cheeks, and an extra glossy lip.
Megan Fox Opens Up About Body Dysmorphia
Because Megan Fox has always been famous for her gorgeous looks, it may surprise fans to hear that the actress has struggled with body dysmorphia. Megan opened up to Sports Illustrated, sharing that “Shooting Sports Illustrated Swimsuit is definitely a lot of pressure,” adding, “what I most want people to know is that I’m a genuine soul who is hoping to actually belong to something and not always have to live as a misunderstood outcast.”

She explained that accepting herself has not always been easy and she told the magazine that she has struggled with body dysmorphia ever since she was very young. “There’s never been a point in my life where I loved my body, never ever…When I was little, that was like, an obsession I had, that I should ‘look this way’.” We love that Megan was able to be so candid and it truly only makes her more beautiful. She shared that she would much rather be known for her heart and spirit than her stunning appearance—and both are apparent.
