Following her divorce from Tom Brady over a year ago, the supermodel, 43, took to Instagram this weekend to share a thought-provoking quote about self-improvement. Though the mom of two’s message was cryptic, it was certainly motivational.
Bündchen posted the quote, and noted it was originally by writer Yung Pueblo (real name Diego Perez). “Personal transformation is not easy. Healing yourself takes time,” it read. “Letting go can sometimes feel overwhelming. Building new habits can seem like an uphill battle.”

During a social media Q&A in January, the runway and style icon gave her fans a peek into her personal journey towards healing. One of the key mantras she has been using to help her stay centered and grounded, she said, is not “taking things personally.” This emerged after her ex Brady’s sharing of an enigmatic Muhammad Ali quote about a dishonest and disloyal heart on the internet.

In December 2023, the legendary NFL player, 46, posted a quote by Ali on Instagram that partially read: "For what is a man? A man is his heart. A lying cheating heart means a lying cheating man. A loving merciful heart means a loving merciful man."
Just before Brady shared this, Bündchen uploaded another quote about "silent struggles" and recovering from a broken heart on IG.
"Everyone we meet has faced or is facing challenges in life that we know nothing about," she wrote in a photo caption in November. "We don’t see the silent struggles, the fear, the obstacles, the heartbreaks, or their daily ups and downs."
She continued: "As we go about our daily routine, we may miss seeing someone needing a simple, kind word or gesture. I believe an act of kindness sparks more kindness, and this is what we most need in the world today."
Just over a year after the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback confirmed the finalization of their divorce, following 13 years of marriage, she shared this message. After reports suggested that the two often argued about their plans for the future, the model and athlete parted ways.

This dispute arose when Brady initially announced his retirement from the NFL in February 2022 but later reneged on his decision the following month.
