A Woman's Stringy McCrispy Chicken Sandwich Goes Viral On TikTok
Every once in a while, you may go to a fast food restaurant and get some kind of item that is not up to standard. For instance, a cold burger or overcooked fries. However, this woman's viral video shows how a simple chicken sandwich order turned into a nightmare.
Nadia, a TikTok user, recorded herself at the start of the month after she had taken a bite of her McCrispy chicken sandwich, which she had ordered from a McDonald's. With a disgusted look on her face, users can see that as she tries to finish her bite of food, the chicken patty is practically resisting, as it is stringy and rubbery. Once she had finally managed to remove her bite from the sandwich, strings of chicken hung out of her mouth, looking more like floss than meat.
In her caption, which included #gross, Nadia wrote, "Can someone from McDonald's [executive] explain this?"
It didn't take long for her video to go viral, gaining over 5M views and over 12,000 comments from both angry McDonald's customers and former customers who refuse to eat there anymore.
McDonald's Customers Share Their Disgust In The Comments Section On TikTok
After Nadia's video gained some traction, internet users quickly began weighing in. Many of them were shocked, horrified to see such an inedible piece of meat used in a sandwich. However, others weren't so surprised as they feel the quality of McDonald's food has been slipping for years now.
In the comments section, users went off on the fast food chain, as others attempted to answer what could have been wrong with Nadia's chicken, given she seemingly never heard from a McDonald's executive.

Why are y'all still eating McDonald's?" asked one.
Another user commented that the chicken looked "like used dental floss."
"That's just another reason to continue boycotting McDonald's," wrote one former customer.
One TikTok user wrote that the "stringy" chicken could be a piece of what's called "spaghetti meat," noting that "it's like a muscle defect in the chicken."
"It doesn't actually make it bad or anything, it's just very unappealing to eat," they continued.
"Please spit it out and go get your money back," commented a user. "There is a local chicken spot near you that sells you REAL chicken. Go there, please."
While we still don't see any response from McDonald's associated with Nadia's post, it certainly turned a lot of people off, and it looks like the chain likely lost a few customers after they watched that video.
