The Grammys Award Show is a special event, one that gathers artist to celebrate music from both the past and present. Punk-Rock Singer and “The Voice” music coach, Gwen Stefani, is no stranger to music stardom. At fifty years old, Stefani has experienced a wide range in stardom. From her early days in No Doubt, to going solo, she’s made an incredible name for herself in the music industry (and if you’re anything like us, you have at least five to ten of Stefani’s songs saved on your Spotify account).
Being that Stefani has grown up in the public eye (and with super fans), it's more than likely that the public will notice any major (or minor) differences this singer puts out. From blue hair back in the nineties and Harajuku style in the 2000s, fans have yet to skip one of Stefani's beats - but this time it's a little different.
Lately, we're seeing less of the theatrics from Stefani, and more of her personal life. Meeting on "The Voice" in 2014, her and partner Blake Shelton are often seen on tabloid publications and living a very happy life. As we're exposed to a more intimate and revealing side of Stefani, it makes her latest change even more surprising.
The Big Change
Fans noticed a huge difference in Stefani's apperance at the 2020 Grammy Music Awards. On the surface, we can call out her beautiful Dolce & Gabbana embellished mini dress, or note a swap out from Stefani's signature red bold lip to a subtle nude - but these aren't the focus of conversation.
Fans are referencing a bigger change. In fact, fans are surprised they can still recognize Stefani and they commented on the large amount of plastic surgery present. Comparing earlier photos to the Grammy Awards, it can be concluded that plastic surgery was done. Whether it was botox or filler (or a mix of both) can not be confirmed.
However, while fans are saying one thing (or another), we want to comment on how beautiful Stefani looked on the Red Carpet.
Women are in control of their own bodies (faces included), and free to make the changes they desire without judgment. While Gwen Stefani has been #goals and #girlcrush since we were screaming "Hey Baby", we should continue to love and support Stefani - no matter what physical choices she makes to her own body. Can we just say though, at fifty years old - she looks absolutley incredible!
