A source has come forward to reveal that the couple, who built a reputation for being laidback yet strong, have started getting into “heated” arguments related to political matters. The news didn’t come long after the actress was slammed on social media for doing a real estate commercial for apartments in Israel, despite the ongoing conflicts and genocide in Palestine. Gwyneth Paltrow & Brad Falchuk Have Reportedly Been Getting Into 'Heated' Arguments
One of the most steady and stable celebrity couples from the last decade has been the Goop founder and Hollywood personality, who initially met on the set of Glee in 2010 before beginning to date in 2014 and marrying in 2018, a few years after she finalized her divorce from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
The pair have always seemed fairly solid together, keeping their private life somewhat private, but with Gwyneth opening up about their marriage and how they've made it work here and there in interviews. However, it looks like there must be trouble in paradise, after an inside source revealed that today's political climate has sparked tension between them.
"Gwyneth knows she's a polarising figure and she thrives on it," an inside source told the Daily Mail. "Brad's the total opposite. The fact that he works behind the scenes in the industry is perfect for him. He's not known as Mr. Paltrow, which he's pleased about. He and Gwyneth have different political leanings. In the past, that's led to heated arguments between them."
Brad Allegedly Struggles With Gwyneth's 'Firecracker' Personality
Right now, today's political climate has many people more tense than ever, with people from both sides of various debates and issues at each other's throats. This includes married couples, and political debates have reportedly made their way into the Paltrow-Falchuk household.
The Iron Man performer has also been called out for a politically coded decision she made recently, which was to star in an advertisement for luxury Israeli apartments, which led to a lot of backlash from social media users who accused her of being a Zionist and against the people of Palestine.
The same source told the above publication that Gwyneth and Brad have differing personalities, which can sometimes make political rifts even more intense.
"He tends to ignore some of her more outrageous statements, or he just shakes his head," the source added. "Brad's found that not getting into it with her is the best way to keep the peace sometimes. Brad tends to favor a more measured, status quo approach and wants the best outcome for everyone, while Gwyneth is more of a firecracker, never afraid to challenge the norm or speak her mind. Their differences cause some fights, but also are something that they love about each other."
