While people are still certainly interested in the film and her character, what really caught people’s attention was her face, which seemed to have a healing filter effect on it, and people found it to be too much. Awards season is in full swing, and one of this year's films that has generated major Oscar and 'Best Picture' buzz is Marty Supreme, the latest Josh Safdie movie starring Timothee Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow. The movie has been receiving rave reviews, with not only Chalamet's performance being praised a lot, but the lifestyle guru's as well.
Around New Year's, she participated in a video interview for Vogue, where she video chatted with a reporter and told some behind-the-scenes stories from the Marty Supreme set. At one point, she spoke about the Complete Unknown actor's transformation for the character, noting Marty was made to look like he had pox marks, "beady eyes" from contacts and glasses, and more.
"In real life, he has beautiful skin," she noted. "He made a comment, and I was like, 'Oh, you know you can do micro-needling for that,' and he's like, 'This is makeup!' The makeup was so good that I thought he had little acne scars."
The mom-of-two later added that she would enjoy undergoing that kind of transformation for a role, noting, "I've never done anything like that where I've really transformed my face."

Although the Iron Man actress spoke out about facial transformations for a film and how she had never done anything that drastic to her face to prepare for a role, fans and other internet users who saw clips of her interview on social media couldn't help but notice there was something going on with her face.
After the interview was shared on platforms like Instagram, users began weighing in on Gwyneth's appearance during the interview, noting that it seemed like her face was too smooth, as if it had a pretty heavy filter on it.
"That Zoom softening filter is maxed out," commented a user.
"Never done anything like that, she says, having a transformed face," wrote another.
"That filter is fighting for its life," joked a user.
One user noted that Gwyneth looks "different," adding, "very different."
We'll be curious to see if the award-winning actress or the publication acknowledges just how filtered her face looked in the interview, but for now, it's safe to say there were a bunch of users shaking their heads.
