When buying health products, getting them at your local health store would be your safest bet to make sure your product is legit and not tampered with. Buying health products online can seem very sketchy, and can come with tons of health risks!
There's one product in particular that you should never, ever order on Amazon, or anywhere online in general! Buying this specific product online can expose you to some terrible health issues...
Buying any hormone products online (such as herbs, pills, and/or creams) is never a good idea. If you've reached the age of menopause, you may feel extremely tempted to get hormonal products, but they can do more harm than good! “I have patients who have bought testosterone pellets on their own," says OB/GYN Diana Bitner, MD. "They end up taking so much of the hormone they have really bad side effects, like hair growth, voices deepening, and rage issues.”
So, before you add that hormonal cream or bottle of pills into your Amazon cart, make sure it's safe and always talk to your doctor before going on one of these medications.
