Prince William and Kate Middleton shared the sweetest video on their Instagram this week. Seriously, you’ll need to grab tissues before watching this tear-jerker.
The clip shows the moment in which Lance corporal Laverty of the Irish Guards returns home early to surprise his young son. The little boy is playing soccer with friends at the time, then clearly notices his father and sprints across the field to him, jumping in his arms for a big hug.
“A sweet moment as Lcpl Laverty of the @IrishGuards, of which Prince William is Colonel, returns home from training to surprise his son,” the royal couple captioned the video.
As parents to three young children, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge can surely empathize with this sweet moment between a father and son. William and Kate have shown through the same Instagram account the ways in which they make time for family between their royal duties.
