According to Mashed, McDonald's Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit is a good example of the nutritional content you can expect in a breakfast sandwich there.

According to Cheat Sheet, which ranked the healthiest McDonald's breakfasts, some low-calorie favorites still pack in the sodium. The Egg White Delight McMuffin has 750 grams of sodium; the Sausage Burrito has 800.

Too much sodium, which mostly comes from restaurant meals and processed foods, can lead to an array of health problems. According to the CDC, "Eating too much sodium puts Americans at risk for developing serious medical conditions, like high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke."

With that in mind, avoiding breakfast sandwiches from McDonald's altogether is probably a good idea. If you are in need of a breakfast on-the-go, try their yogurt parfait or fruit cup instead.
