Granola can sometimes be taboo in the health and wellness community, as certain store-bought brands can be loaded with added sugars and inflammatory ingredients. However, Hunter says you can still eat it, but you want to make sure you're buying a good brand.

He selected the Purely Elizabeth Double Chocolate Cookie Granola from Walmart.

"Yes, you can eat granola and still lose weight," says Hunter. "This one uses all-real ingredients, no seed oils, it has some fiber in it, and it's so delicious and satisfying."

These beef sticks are rising in popularity and contain an impressive 10 grams of protein per serving at only 100 calories. You can add them to a snack box or simply grab one from your pantry when you're in a rush.

If you can't get through the day without cracking open a soda, you should definitely swap it for one of these, as they're still sweet and refreshing but won't spike your blood sugar or make you crash.
