Ivanka Trump went for a daring, colorful look for a star-studded royal wedding in Jordan. The Crown Prince Al Hussein of Jordan married Rajwa Alseif at the Zahran Palace in Jordan, on Thursday, June 1st. For the royal wedding reception, the daughter of the former U.S. president opted for a rainbow-striped, pleated caped gown by one of Kate Middleton’s favorite designers—Jenny Packham.

Ivanka Trump Stuns In A Waist-Cinching, Rainbow-Striped Gown For A Royal Wedding

The British designer is one of Kate’s favorites when she needs to get dressed up for special occasions. The Princess of Wales wore a pink lacy Elie Saab dress for the wedding and changed into a Barbiecore sequined Packham gown for the reception. Packham has also dressed Adele, Chrissy Teigen, Paris Hilton, and Dita Von Teese.

Ivanka chose to wear a plunging, floor-length Peckham gown to the wedding reception. The dress featured a low-cut V-shaped design in the back and a waist-cinching crystal-embellished belt. The sleeves of the dress resembled a cape to add a breezy vibe to this rainbow-striped look. The multi-colored dress also had pleat detailing.

For jewelry, Ivanka, who’s recent Greek vacation has been non-stop outfit inspo, opted for a simple pair of silver drop earrings and no necklace. She styled her blonde hair in a deep side part, straight. Ivanka went with natural, appropriate makeup consisting of a dark pink lip, full lashes, bronzer, and light eyeshadow. Ivanka’s husband Jared complimented her in a black and white tuxedo.

Later, Ivanka changed into a sky-blue, silky Alex Perry gown for the banquet dinner. The dress boasted a high neckline with a unique twist front detail on the bodice. The gown also featured structured shoulder pads and long sleeves. Fans speculated that Ivanka and Jared did not attend the religious ceremony but were instead invited to the reception and banquet later in the day as part of the wedding celebrations.

Ivanka and Jared weren’t the only high-profile guests at the event—specifically First Lady Jill Biden, whose husband, President Joe Biden, has been battling with Ivanka’s father, the former president. Even though the Ivanka and Jill were not pictured together, the former first daughter was spotted talking with Prince William.

Fan Comments

The eldest daughter of Donald Trump took to Instagram to share both of her looks for the special day. She first captioned the silky blue dress she wore to the banquet with, “Wishing congratulations to Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah and Princess Rajwa al Hussein on their beautiful wedding.” Then, she captioned a photo of herself posing in the rainbow gown alongside her husband Jared Kushner with simple flower emojis.

Commenters adored her rainbow-patterned dress. “That dress omg,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “You look stunning! If you ever run for president you have my vote!” and, “Queen Ivanka!” while another raved, “Simply breathtaking, dress is perfect and you look absolutely stunning!” One person even commented that Ivanka and Jared were “the most beautiful couple on the earth.”

Other commenters, however, were critical of her colorful dress, “Sorry, glancing at it , it looked almost Pride-like I’m sure that wasn’t your intent!” one fan quipped while another warned, “Seriously? Your dad was just indicted falsely for a second time. This post is pretty tasteless considering that!”
