The singer, whose full name is Jason Bradley DeFord, played a special and intimate show at a famous honky tonk music venue, Billy Bob's Texas, in Forth Worth, Texas, on May 6th. Just two days before he showed up at the Academy of Country Music Awards, he took the stage at the country hot spot and played a set that his audience loved. He also decided to bring some very special guests on stage.
Award-winning country singer Lainey Wilson took the stage alongside Jason, causing the crowd in the honky tonk to go wild. Wearing an all-black outfit and a chic black cowgirl hat, the "Heart Like A Truck" singer sang her and Jelly Roll's famous duet, "Save Me," which ended up winning the Music Event of the Year award at the ACMs two days later. Impressively, Lainey was not the only guest to join him on stage, as Post Malone also joined the party. The Grammy-nominated rapper and singer also has a collaborative song with the 40-year-old, "Losers," which they performed for the enthusiastic crowd at Billy Bob's.
The audience at the honky tonk venue was not only filled with fans of Jelly Roll but friends and family as well, as his wife, Alyssa, also known as 'Bunnie,' sat in the crowd enjoying the show and even made a brief appearance on stage.
Given his increasing success and latest headlining music festival sets, the smaller show was memorable for his supporters, who also couldn't help but notice how slim and happy he looked on stage.

The show at Billy Bob's doesn't come long after the dad of two announced that he had lost nearly 200 pounds after beginning his weight loss journey back in 2022. At a live event with podcaster Pat McAfee, the Tennessee native shared that he started his health journey weighing over 500 pounds and went all the down to a little over 350 pounds. Then, in a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, he revealed that he was "approaching the 200-pound mark."
Since documenting his weight loss and sharing his progress, high-protein meals, and updated exercise regimens, the musician has been receiving a lot of encouragement and support from his fanbase, who continued to share those sentiments after photos and videos of him looking slimmer on stage at Billy Bob's were released.
"Jelly looks so good!" wrote a fan under an Instagram video of him at Billy Bob's.
"Looking great, Jelly," added another. "Proud of you. Keep up the hard and amazing work."
"Jelly Roll [is] doing his thing, losing weight," said a fan.
Additional Instagram users noted that the energy in the large honky tonk was up and electric all night, especially when the singer's special guests took the stage.
"That show was absolutely epic," wrote a crowd member.
