Jelly Roll Puts On A Star-Studded Performance At Stagecoach After Revealing His 183-lb Weight Loss

On Saturday, April 26th, Jelly Roll, whose full name is Jason Bradley Deford, began his highly-anticipated headlining set at Stagecoach, the famous country music festival in California. Fans flooded the outdoor stage to watch his performance, which ended up containing a lot of surprise appearances from other celebrities and musicians.

Machine Gun Kelly and, later, Shaboozey both joined the artist to sing their duets with him and after a few more guests stepped out on stage, icon Lana Del Rey came out to sing Lainey Wilson's part in the song "Save Me," causing the crowd to go wild. It was a very memorable set for both the "Son Of A Sinner" artist and his fans out in the crowd.

The performance doesn't come long after his latest update on his weight loss journey, which he's been documenting for his followers for a little over two years. Earlier this month, he made a live appearance at podcaster Pat McAfee's "Big Night Aht" event in Pittsburgh and revealed that he had lost 183 pounds, starting his transformation at 500 pounds and weighing around 357 pounds today.

While the fun music and wide array of celebrity guests were highlights of Jason's performance, for fans of his, seeing him look lighter and happier on stage was a notable moment, too.

Fans React To Jelly Roll's Impressive Weight Loss and Stagecoach Performance On Social Media

Once the music festival had concluded, the 40-year-old took to Instagram to share photos and a heartfelt message related to his performance.

"Thank you so much for having me and all of these beautiful people and allowing us to share our music," wrote the singer.

"And to those beautiful people, thank you so much for coming out for me. You made me feel special on the biggest night of my life."

Fans and supporters of the musician flooded the comments with words of support and encouragement following his big night.

"What a legendary night!" commented Shaboozey. "Best Stagecoach ever."

"You're definitely doing something right," commented an Instagram user. "Keep it up!"

"The story of the underdog only gets better and better," wrote one fan, while another added that they "loved everything" about his performance.

Other fans took to X to share their positive feedback on the singer and how he looked on stage during the festival.

"He looks so great!" wrote an X user. "Can't wait to see him after he drops another 100 [pounds]."

During his viral onstage moment with Pat McAfee earlier this month, the singer shared that he had no intention of stopping or slowing down his self-improvement progress or weight loss, as his goal is indeed to lose another 100 pounds and go skydiving with his wife, 'Bunnie.' We'll be curious to see if he reaches that goal by the end of the year, but either way, his fans are clearly proud of how far he's come.
