Jennifer Garner Reportedly Wants Ben Affleck To 'Take A Break From Dating'

One of the most famous celebrity couples from the last two decades has been none other than the 13 Going On 30 star and the Batman icon, who were together for nearly 13 years before divorcing in 2015.

Following that, another couple who made headlines was Ben and his on-and-off again partner, Jennifer Lopez, whom he reunited with and married in 2022 after initially breaking up in the early 2000s. Since then, his first wife has been speaking up about their divorce, how it was a challenge for her family, and both of them have made vague statements about how they work together as co-parents of three kids.

Now that he's single and his divorce has been finalized, his first ex is allegedly pushing him to stay that way for a while and continue to explore the lifestyle.

"Jen thinks it might actually be good for Ben to take a break from dating for a while," a source told Page Six. "She cares about him a lot and only wants what's best for him at the end of the day."

Ben Is Reportedly 'Happier' Since Divorcing Jennifer Lopez

When Ben and J-LO decided to call off their relationship once more, there were fans from around the world who were disappointed and surprised. What followed was lengthy divorce proceedings, a real estate battle, and more.

But now that it's all said and done, the Good Will Hunting writer is reportedly in a much better, happier place, although that's what it looks like from his first wife's perspective. Now, she wants him to stay that way.

"From her perspective, he's happier than he's been in a long time, and she feels like it could be healthy for him to keep putting that energy into himself, his work, and his family instead of jumping into a relationship," the source told the above publication. "That said, she trusts Ben to make his own decisions and supports him either way."
