While Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck may have already legally tied the knot in Las Vegas last month, the couple is reportedly gearing up for a 3-day wedding celebration with family and friends!
Mr. and Mrs. Affleck are said to be currently preparing for the epic bash, Page Six reports, that will take place at the Justice League actor’s estate in Riceboro, Georgia this weekend. An insider source also allegedly revealed that the wedding will be covered by Vogue and feature a plethora of celeb guests in attendance, like Affleck’s brother Casey, his longtime best friend Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel, Sopranos star Drea de Matteo, and more.

“It’s going to be all about J.Lo. Ben wants all of the focus to be on her for their big day,” the source reportedly dished to Page Six. The insider also indicated that the three-day “intimate celebration for family and friends” will begin with a glamorous rehearsal dinner on Friday, August 19th. The actual ceremony will take place on Saturday, the source supposedly found out, and Lopez, 53, and Affleck, 49, will top it all off with a barbecue and picnic on Sunday.
As for her (what we presume will be instantly iconic) wedding gown, the “If You Had My Love” hitmaker is expected to don a custom couture dress by Ralph Lauren that was crafted in Italy, and Vogue will give fans a better look at her wedding ensemble and details. Colin Cowie, Page Six adds, will be behind the star-studded event, as an A-list event planner for stars like Oprah Winfrey and Michael Jackson. Cowie’s price tag often ranges from $25k to $25 million (so we’re def anticipating a once-in-a-lifetime bash!)

The insider also allegedly noted that Lopez might give fans updates via her ‘On the J.Lo’ newsletter, where she also confirmed her Las Vegas marriage last month. Shortly after their long-awaited July 16th wedding, Lopez wrote to fans, “We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.”
She added,”Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world. Behind us two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday.” The Hustlers actress continued, “All of us wanting the same thing—for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage.”

“We barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight,” she shared. “They graciously stayed open late a few minutes, let us take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible, evidently once used by the king himself (but if we wanted Elvis himself to show, that cost extra and he was in bed).” We, like their many fans, can’t wait for more details on Bennifer’s next celebration!
