Appleton, who has also worked with big names such as Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian, Martha Stewart, and Ariana Grande, among others, shared the sultry pictures with his 4M Instagram followers on November 4th.
He captioned the post: “Bombshell Barbs.” And judging by the reactions in the comment section, fans were completely blown away by what they saw, with some even struggling to identify who was in the pictures!

Of course, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” hitmaker, 57, isn’t the first A-lister to pose naked in a bathtub, with many celebrities having taken part in similarly glamorous photoshoots over the years, including shoots by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz. The one with Sofía Vergara still lives rent-free in our minds!
In Appleton’s pictures, the Office Romance star poses seductively while sporting an ultra-voluminous blonde hairstyle – believed to be a wig. The bombshell look is a dramatic departure from the long, sleek, glossy hairstyles we’re used to seeing on her, but nobody seems to be mad about it!
This isn’t the first time Lopez and Appleton have worked together, as the celebrity hairstylist has been responsible for many of her signature looks over the years, including her wedding hairstyle when she married Ben Affleck in 2022.

Fans flooded the comment section of Appleton’s post with praise for the multihyphenate, with many unable to get over how stunning she looked!
“Wowwwwww,” exclaimed one fan. “Leo queen you ate this,” raved a second, followed by the fire emoji, as a third asked: “How is she this gorgeous?” A fourth simply said she was “gorgeous.”
“Absolute Queen @jlo,” gushed a fifth, followed by the red heart and gold crown emojis. “Stunning,” a sixth chimed in, followed by the star-eyes emoji, while a seventh said she was “iconic,” followed by the fire emoji. “Amazing work,” praised an eighth, followed by the heart-eyes and fire emojis, as a ninth said she was a “total bombshell,” followed by the fire emoji.
However, not everyone immediately recognized the Hustlers actress, with several fans admitting they had to do a double take to work out who was in the pictures.
“Wait who is that?” asked one fan, followed by three fire emojis, as a second confessed: “I’m trying to figure out who that is.” “Wait is this J-Lo?!” questioned a third, while a fourth said she was “totally unrecognizable.” A fifth thought the pictures were of another famous star altogether, writing: “I think it’s Kim.” We assume they were referencing Kim Kardashian, who is another famous client of Appleton’s.
“Thought that was Bella Hadid,” admitted a sixth, followed by the heart eyes emoji, while others thought Lopez resembled a younger version of Madonna, with a seventh commenting: “Looks like a young Madonna.” “I know it’s J-Lo but she looks like a younger Madonna. Beautiful,” agreed an eighth.
