Jennifer Lopez Confirms She's Single On 'Jimmy Kimmel'
JLo's divorce from Ben Affleck finalized in early 2025 and since then she's made work her number one priority. Promoting Kiss of the Spider Woman and Unstoppable took up a lot of her time following their releases in January 2025, followed by the filming and May 2026 release of Office Romance, her new rom-com. She also started her Las Vegas residency in the back half of 2025, a run consisting of 12 shows. It's safe to say she's busy—and she likes it that way.
On her May 27 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's late night show, the host questioned if she was truly single. "Yes! I shoulda done it sooner!" she replied. "I've been doing it all wrong. I've been doing it all wrong, trust me."
Kimmel also questioned if she'd consider giving romance another shot by being the next Bachelorette, but she shot that suggestion down. "Are you crazy?" she asked. "I'm not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now," she said, adding that being single is "fantastic."
But, the self-proclaimed romantic hasn't ruled out finding love again. "I'll meet somebody, somewhere one day. If they're good enough."
JLo Shuts Down Brett Goldstein Romance Rumors
With her confirmation that she's single and loving it, the mother-of-two effectively shutdown all the rumors surrounding her and her Office Romance co-star, Brett Goldstein. During filming last year, the two were spending a lot of time together both on and off set. The pair were spotted together numerous times, including attending a Broadway show together last March.
While both Goldstein and Lopez have been giving their publicity tour for their new film their all, this latest interview confirms that any suggestions of chemistry between them are strictly business!
