Jennifer Lopez Shuts Down Dating Rumors
Earlier this week, Lopez and Goldstein appeared on the Today show as one of their stops on the publicity tour for Office Romance. Getting right to the good stuff, Guthrie couldn't help but ask the co-stars the question we've all been asking ourselves—are the dating rumors true?
"There's never a time when I'm seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don't try and put me with the person," Lopez replied with a laugh.
"I think if you stand near her, that's what happens," Goldstein chimed in. "That's why I've been standing so close this whole time."
But Guthrie wasn't going to let this non-answer slide: "Okay, but I'll just say, because I'm me and you know me. That was not an answer."
"That's not an answer?" Lopez asked. "It was an answer! Because all these people that they put me, I think I was with Kevin Costner this year. I was with...there was a lot of people. It happens all the time. Doesn't make it true."
"Okay, so you're not dating in real life?" Savannah asked for a third time.
"Not dating," Lopez said as Goldstein confirmed, "Correct."

While a clear shut down of the rumor that they're currently romantically involved, fans are still running with the idea that they might have been at some point, but have since broken up. After all, Lopez did tell Andy Cohen that the Ted Lasso star was her best on-screen kiss of her career!
An insider speaking to Ok! explained that Goldstein was the perfect distraction for Lopez while she was going through her divorce from Ben Affleck, providing her with "lightness and escape."
According to the source, Lopez was able to enjoy their fling because it came "without the weight of expectation," but never thought the relationship would materialize beyond something casual because she didn't see him fitting into the "long-term vision she has for herself."
This long term vision has a partner that matches her lifestyle, level of fame, wealth, and ambitions, which the insider added "naturally narrows the field when it comes to who she sees as a long term fit."
