It looks like Jennifer Lopez is not letting the breakup rumors get her down — or affect her relationship with Alex Rodriguez. The actress is currently filming her new movie Shotgun Wedding in the Dominican Republic, and she’s been sharing shots of her work trip on Instagram.
She captioned one set of photos, “Eye on the prize. #ShotgunWedding #MakingMovies #SetLife #ProducerLife #BTS.” And although J.Lo’s two-year engagement to A-Rod is hardly a rushed “shotgun wedding,” it definitely sounds like this caption is not just referring to her latest role. If anything “eye on the prize” sounds a lot like a response to speculation about their split and a confirmation that their wedding plans are still very much in place.

This is not the only way Lopez has responded to the rumors. She also posted a very telling TikTok that included headlines announcing her breakup. While the split news flashed across the screen, Saweetie’s lyrics, “I ain’t worried about a blog or a b***h,” accompanied them, making clear one thing: J.Lo is unfazed when it comes to tabloids.

Lopez is not the only one to respond to the rumors. Rodriguez has also alluded to them in his social media posts. He posted an IG story from the Dominican Republic with the caption “Happy Monday. New week. New day. Onward. Upward.” It definitely sounds like the couple is headed in the right direction.
Since A-Rod has joined J.Lo in the DR, there’s been quite a few PDA-filled shots of the two of them as well.
