In a 2020 interview with Refinery29, Biel's makeup artist Daniel Martin opened up about her simple and healthy skincare routine. "There’s not a ton of moving parts when it comes to Jessica’s skincare prep," he dished to the outlet.
Martin added: "It’s basically two parts: toning and moisturizing." He also mentioned that when she feels fatigued, she often rejuvenates her eyes with a cooling mask. "Jessica has almond-shaped eyes and dry skin, so it’s important to keep the skin around the eyes both lifted and hydrated," he shared.
Biel's luminous appearance is also likely due to her nutritious eating habits. In a 2017 interview with the Los Angeles Times, the actress shared that her family cultivates certain crops, such as spinach and radishes, in their own backyard garden, which she combines into sizable salads.
"Honestly I just feel better when I don’t have gluten or wheat or dairy. My digestion is better, I feel better, I have more energy," Biel also revealed. "I just try to eat really healthy." The mom of two also noted that her meals usually consist of Paleo pancakes, garden vegetables, and protein-rich salmon, while leaving a bit of space for indulgences. "Of course I have cheat-days and will go out and have, like, cookies and pizza," she shared.
